Windows installation

Installation is not public yet.

SystemLens 0.3.0-rc.1 is unsigned. There is intentionally no executable or public download link on this site.

Release gate

A trusted code-signing certificate, publisher approval, verified HTTPS distribution page, and published SHA-256 checksum are required before the download control can be enabled.

Planned installation flow

  1. Download the signed companion from the verified Quod HTTPS page and verify its published checksum.
  2. In ChatGPT, connect SystemLens and sign in.
  3. Create a short-lived pairing code and confirm the account and intended PC.
  4. Run the signed companion’s pairing flow, then start its outbound connection.
  5. Ask ChatGPT to list paired devices and verify that the expected PC is online.

Local security model

The companion opens no inbound port. It stores its device credential with Windows DPAPI for the current Windows user and collects only when an authorized request arrives through its outbound connection.

Current action

Wait for the signed release. Do not obtain an executable from an unofficial source, and do not bypass Windows trust warnings for an unsigned build.
